We are thrilled to be able to work with Stream Networks to provide Penlon with secure hardware and software which will deliver training and communications regarding their new ventilators to all Doctors and Nurses at NHS Nightingale.

NHS Nightingale has been created in a matter of weeks and in response to the UK governments request, Penlon are producing ventilators for NHS Nightingale based on their ES02 and Prima systems.

Penlon, have joined forces with the NHS to provide the ventilators for the 4,000 bed hospital at the London ExCel centre.  The new hospital will be staffed by doctors and nurses that may not have a working knowledge of Penlon equipment.  For this reason, they need a portal to allow the training materials, etc. to be accessed by all staff working at the hospital. Our hardware and software will deliver vital content to help the doctors and nurses save the lives of patients at the hospital.

John Nicklin, Managing Director of SORCE “We are in awe of the fantastic work everyone is doing at NHS Nightingale and our client Penlon in turning around a high volume of ventilators in such a short time. As an intranet software provider, we are proud to be working with Stream Networks to deliver the hardware and software needed to enable Penlon to provide key documentation and remote training to all Doctors and Nurses at NHS Nightingale during these challenging times”.

Martin Miles, Technical Director at SORCE “From initial discussions with Tony Seratorre at Penlon to launch of their new portal, took just 5 days and now we are creating similar portals for other companies in just 24 hours”.

Matt Shanahan, Managing Director of Stream Networks “We have provided Penlon with our enterprise virtual server infrastructure, including security and back up technology to run the SORCE intranet platform, at no cost. We are so pleased we can help in anyway that we can during these unprecedented times”.

Tony Seratore, Head of IT, Penlon Ltd “The challenge was to provide the Nightingale NHS staff with access to training material to enable them to use vital equipment during the COVID-19 crisis quickly and safely to the patients in their care.  Sorce responded to the “Call to arms” with deployment of a portal utilising their technology platform already familiar to Penlon.  The portal had to be easy to use with quick straightforward navigation to the information needed and Sorce delivered this in quick time and backed by secure cloud hosting.  I’d like to thank Sorce for the rapid response of putting this together and their contribution and continued support to the efforts to provide the NHS with the information and support needed to help save lives during these unprecedented times”
