Personalisation and Relevance
A successful internal community improves productivity by providing employees access to relevant information.
We have designed our core product to deliver highly personalised, even targeted content, directly to your staff. From the very moment they log in, our product knows who they are and gives them information they need to do their job.
Personalised content is displayed in pages around the product, this may include:
- Documents relating to your project(s)
- Colleagues within your department
- Your individual alerts or actions
- Department specific news
To help your business communicate relevant information to employees we use groups. Our product groups staff together based on their department, job role, skill set or any other criteria specified by you. Content can then be targeted to these groups which can work in two ways.
- Pushing content to groups shows this information directly within the employees MyPage
- Displaying content that has been targeted to a group (or groups) can be used on department pages
The relevance of your content can be maintained by your community. Articles can be rated and commented on with the feedback submitted to the content author. Higher rated, more relevant content then becomes more prominent.
Relevance to the individual is also controlled by the inbuilt access control. Certain content may be restricted to specific individuals or groups. Access control can be applied to any item of content within your community, whether that’s pages, documents, menus, forms or even articles. This ensures that only relevant information is displayed to each member of your community.
