We’d like to welcome Darley to the SORCE community. Darley is a thoroughbred horse breeding operation, which breeds horses internationally.

With a workforce spread that spans the globe, the company wants to create a more collaborative environment for their global intranet users. To achieve this they required a solution that would unify content from their pre existing intranet sites.

Steven Greensmith, IT Applications Administrator at Darley Stud said “With our staff located across the globe we wanted them to feel better connected to the organisation as a whole by giving everyone access to the same information.”

The organisation were impressed by SORCE’s Replication technology, which enables the latest intranet content to be accessed by all users irrespective of their geographical location and overcome latency issues.

To help ascertain the needs of their international users, the company have been following the SORCE ‘Journey’. This has included conducting stakeholder interviews with staff from each of their worldwide locations.
