Helena Partnerships launched in July 2008. It was formerly known as Helena Housing, a well respected social landlord with 13,000 homes in St Helens, Merseyside. With the change to Helena Partnerships, Helena wanted to reflect that they are more than just a housing company. Not only are Helena Partnership about providing high quality homes for thousands of people, they are also about creating places where people choose to live, work and enjoy themselves.

Helena Partnership employs 700 people with a diverse range of roles and working practices. Their needs have outgrown the functionality of their existing Intranet solution and the time was right to consider a new provider to tie into a much wider corporate programme of modernising working practices and transforming the business.

An enterprise intranet portal allowing greater flexibility, customisation and system integration was required to meet the increasing demands of the organisation. SORCE not only met these requirements but offered Helena Partnership a structured and proven approach for delivering successful enterprise projects.
