Travelodge Intranet Rebrand

Travelodge, the UK’s fastest growing budget hotel chain have rebranded their intranet site to incorporate the company’s focus on its ‘Sleep Tight’ campaign as well as launching an internal blog for their newly appointed Chief Executive Officer, Guy Parsons.

As an existing customer of SORCE, Travelodge required their intranet to reflect this exciting new focus on ‘Sleep tight’. The new intranet site features characters called Mr Sleep and the Zzz squad. Their mission is to ensure that all Travelodge customers are guaranteed a good night’s sleep. Travelodge’s CEO, Guy Parsons wanted to incorporate a daily blog onto the new intranet site to keep staff informed of the chain’s new Sleep Tight campaign as well as on going weekly business updates.

Mr Sleep is a hard as nails teddy bear who, aided by his Zzz squad gang, makes it his mission to ensure Travelodge customers sleep well without a lumpy pillow in sight. He has his own Facebook page where people can leave him messages and interact with him.

Travelodge were very specific that the new intranet site should look similar to their website by featuring each member of the Zzz squad on all areas of the intranet site such as the Human Resources, Health and Safety and Customer Satisfaction pages. Taking into account Travelodge’s specific requirements, SORCE then implemented the new intranet site.
