Peverel Management Services Connects their Workforce with a SORCE Portal

Peverel Management Services Limited (Peverel) was established in 1982 and specialises in the management of private retirement property in England and Wales. Working in close partnership with successful national and local builders, developers and landlords, Peverel Management Services are able to help advise and manage throughout the lifetime of a development.

With over 1,500 retirement properties managed throughout England and Wales, Peverel’s on site house managers help ensure all of the facilities run smoothly and answer any queries residents may have about the development. As the organisation has grown, new ways of communicating information from head office to the house managers were needed, increasing the speed of information flow across the business.

After searching the market, Peverel chose the SORCE Portal to deliver a pilot project to all retirement home house managers. Whereas previously communication was done via post or telephone, the new Portal now enables head office to quickly communicate to this widely distributed workforce.

Following on from the successful pilot program the SORCE Portal will not only communicate news, documents, policies and procedures around the business, it will also integrate with their property management system to make information more accessible to staff. Using the inbuilt SORCE development environment to create specific new applications, Peverel will be able to move / place their management paperwork online utilising the powerful workflow capabilities of their SORCE Portal.

By implementing their new SORCE Portal, Peverel are able to save money by reducing the quantity of postage and telephone calls while increasing the level of communication with their staff. Switching to an automated electronic process of communication means that the accuracy of information received by both house managers and head office is improved and employees feel more connected to the organisation.
