SORCE Client, Croydon College, Wins Best Intranet Category in the Communicators in Business (CiB) Award

SORCE client, Croydon College, won the CiB Award for ‘Best Intranet’ at the Communicators in Business award ceremony last Friday 22nd May. Succeeding over tough competition from Cadbury, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, Britannia Building Society and Urenco; Croydon College’s STARS application won judges over with it’s clear objective, to prevent students from failing.

Judges were particularly impressed with the impact STARS has had with both students and teachers, commenting: “Management are not just pleased, but genuinely enthusiastic about STARS and it is easy to see why..”, “this is an intranet application that helps them save failing students..”, “students that in the past would have would have dropped off the radar, can now be given extra help and attention so that they stay the course”.
