When Briggs Equipment became part of Sammons Enterprises, a new intranet solution was needed. Having had an intranet for several years Briggs were quite specific with the requirements for their replacement system. Initially Briggs looked at developing in house intranet and then a Microsoft SharePoint solution. They quickly realised that they didn’t have the time or resources required to implement and develop this approach so that it delivered the functionality the business required.
