West London Mental Health Connects with SORCE for Intranet Solution
West London Mental Health Trust (WLMHT) provides a full range of mental health services for children, adults and older people to the London Boroughs of Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, and Hounslow as well as specialist and forensic mental health services, including high secure services. The Trust has a large geographical spread, approximately 45 miles from the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham to Broadmoor Hospital in Berkshire. It has about 30 significant sites, employs 4,000 members of staff and provides around 1200 patient beds.
Internal communications, team-building and the timely sharing of information are a challenge to the Trust. With a large staff of clinicians, medical professionals, administrative personnel and other workers, the Trust needs to have an efficient and effective means of keeping everyone informed and involved. That is why the Trust has selected a SORCE Intranet solution for communicating, sharing information and improving processes across the Trust.
The Trust evaluated a range of Intranet solutions, including the option of developing it in-house. The Trust’s decision to implement a SORCE solution is based on ease of use, richness of the application portfolio and the SORCE experience of deploying Intranets for customers in all walks of life.
