With a workforce that is spread over 200 dental and orthodontic practices throughout the UK, an effective intranet is vital.
The Challenge
Oasis Dental Care is seeking to use its intranet as a knowledgebase of standard information about all their dental
practices and services. This helps to ensure that all the regional practices represent Oasis Dental Care in a high-quality and accurate way. It also simplifies the process of ensuring that the company’s 200 regional practice websites are consistent in representing the company’s brand and services.
Selection Process
As a SORCE client Oasis Dental Care is developing their intranet to provide the company with a knowledgebase, known as The Hub.
The Solution
The Hub provides Oasis Dental Care with a central repository of information on all their practices and practitioners. It also assists with facilitating collaboration and sharing of organisational values, vision and news across their UK
operations.
The SORCE intranet was able to provide:-

The Result
Oasis uses The Hub as the knowledgebase of essential information on people, practices and dental services. This information is shared across the organisation ensuring their 200 individual practice websites are consistent and accurate.

New applications that are being developed include one to manage NHS information governance requirements. All employees will soon have a ‘myintranet’ view providing information relevant to their role and team when they log-in to The Hub.
